Main Responsibilities

- Accurate transaction processing to handle sales, refunds, returns, and exchanges following Dis-Chem’s policies
- Operating the store’s point of sale system and ensuring all items and prescriptions are scanned correctly
- Handling cash safely and securing daily takings in accordance with company procedures
- Managing personal till login details confidentially and changing passwords as required
- Assisting with loyalty program transactions, including linked partners like Discovery HealthCare and Momentum Multiply
- Reporting any suspicious activity or customer feedback to supervisors or management
Location and Work Hours
The role is based at the Dis-Chem store in Mooirivier Mall, Potchefstroom. Applicants must be prepared to work retail hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays, according to the store’s schedule.
