About the Opportunity
The General Stores Assistant will work closely with the hospital’s Warehouse Clerk to ensure smooth stock management practices. Key activities include receiving and issuing stock, delivering store items to various hospital departments, rotating stock according to the first-in, first-out system, and assisting with administrative tasks such as capturing requisitions and processing vouchers on the LOGIS system. The role also involves general maintenance tasks within the store areas and the ability to relieve colleagues or perform messenger duties when required.

Requirements
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills

Salary and Terms
The position offers an annual salary of R144,024, subject to government public service employment conditions.
