About the City of Johannesburg Bursary Programme 2027
This bursary programme covers a broad range of study fields, from Engineering and Information Technology to Health, Finance, Legal Studies, and more. The funding can assist with tuition, registration fees, prescribed books, and study materials up to a maximum of R40,000 per academic year. The bursary is renewable annually based on satisfactory academic performance.
Who Can Apply?
- South African youth permanently residing within Johannesburg communities.
- Applicants must intend to enroll in a qualifying full-time undergraduate programme lasting at least one year at an accredited South African tertiary institution.
- The bursary is not available for postgraduate studies.
