Applications must be completed online via Anglo American’s official recruitment portal. During the application, candidates will be asked to upload relevant documents including their CV, proof of qualifications, driver’s licence, and residential address.

The closing date for applications is 18 September 2026. Applicants are encouraged to apply ahead of the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues or delays.

Important Considerations Before Applying

Meeting the minimum academic qualifications alone does not guarantee acceptance, as candidates must also satisfy physical fitness and assessment requirements, and successfully progress through the selection process.

The programme offers an excellent opportunity to build foundational skills in the mining sector but should be viewed as a development step without a guaranteed permanent employment outcome at completion.

Prospective applicants are advised to research relevant mining and technical careers through South Africa’s SETA system, such as the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA), and to explore alternative education and training pathways using trusted resources to plan their careers effectively.
