The South African Department of Employment and Labour is recruiting 103 Security Officers on a one-year contract basis to provide protection at its Provincial Office and Labour Centres across the North West Province. About the Opportunity

The recruitment drive offers Security Officer positions across nine different locations within the North West Province. Successful candidates will be responsible for controlling access, conducting security patrols, protecting government information and assets, investigating internal security incidents, and enforcing departmental security regulations.

Who May Apply

Applicants must be South African citizens who meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
  • Grade C Security Certificate issued by the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA)
  • At least 12 months of security experience

Remuneration and Contract Details

These positions are offered on a one-year contract, with a salary of R201 093 per annum plus an additional 37% in lieu of benefits. Candidates should note that these are not permanent appointments within the Public Service.
